Why do people think they can not get a good quality of purebred animals in shelters?
Have you heard of the right collasping breeders? Have you heard of the good breeders are elderly and closing? Did you visit the animal shelter and see how are they? I do not think that all poor farmers because it is not safe. Probably due to a "real" breeder will not sell their dogs to let anyone off at a shelter. New homes and real breeders will screen a dog if the owners can no longer care for him. I have no doubt there are beautiful, healthy purebred dogs in shelters, but I seriously doubt that there have some or most of the good breeders, most likely a backyard breeder or a breeder are really crappy.
