Like when they were children, parents must continue to teach our children to colleges and high schools what being a good friend (both sides of the equation). We also need to encourage them to fend for themselves when they are not treated with respect. These tips can help you help your child navigate through a friendly challenge.

1. Show that you get. Recognize your child what he / she 's feeling is normal. It hurts when a friend turns against you. Reflect on what he hears: "You talk too much damage, angry and confused." Sharing "loss of a friend" story of their own teens. I hope you can share what he has learned from this situation and how he used to become a stronger, more thoughtful person. This model of empathy and also ensures that your child (ren) who will survive.

2. Calm yourself. Before moving to measures of conflict resolution (3 and 4) that your child needs to stress and May need too. No matter what someone has done something terrible to your child (and the use of digital social media today's kids can be extremely creative in their wickedness to others), making them easier to calm go through the hassle.

3. What can / can not control? Point to reality: you can not control the behavior of a friend or feelings, but you can get a handle on their own. In considering the options that others do, once wise to 12 years told me: "My grandmother says that things can not control is only his hands. "Exactly. And if you try to control things that you can not control, does that stress you most. Do not let your children go there and do not go yourself!

4. Your child has choices. Even after a fight (s) which is far from power. If, for example, a friend became an enemy, the options for your child cope with the situation could be:

R. Talk to another trusted friend on the situation and get their opinion or advice

B. Speak directly to the fantastic friend and tell him how it made you feel

C. Not always talk to this friend again

D. Replace by getting other people to turn against him

E. Forget the pain and act as if you do not mind

F. Find new friends

Brainstorming at this point must be open. While you may hear an option that idea immediately feels like a "terrible" say nothing. Simply encourage your child to keep the options for the exchange of ideas. It is a process. Judging a good alternative to a bad choice just below.

5. Evaluate options. Only after the time your child lists several options for him / her (not you) to be evaluated.

You: Take the D option, for example. What is likely to occur following the election of that?

Teen (voice thought high): The magnitude of the risk of taking sides. Then things get this mess huge.

You: to help heal the friendship? Want to create more or less stressful for you and others?

Teen: Uh, the first answer … Not really. Answer to second question … more.

You: I agree. Now, what about the option E? What if you go with that?

Teenagers: My friend might think, because I said I'm not all that I do not like what you made. Not true!

You: acts as if he did not bother to build more confidence in the friendship? To help further Respect?

Teens: Obviously not.

Reflecting on the potential consequences is extremely valuable for adolescents, because they react often without thinking. Talk Even the worst knee jerk retaliatory options and consequences of the high bid (and totally safe) opportunities learning.

Thanks for your support in the review of options (without having to worry that you hurry and try to "fix" the problem) that the interpolation / teen 's critical thinking will improve. Hopefully your child will also bring you closer when they will not tolerate disrespectful behavior of any friends or call a friend.

Has anyone scary stories that happened to you?

I listen to the experiences of child care or observation scary ghost or if believed to have died, but returned. Something! Best Story Wins Best answer! Thank you!

I live in the country and there is much to do, then, sometimes, to amuse my friends and me, just around. Then one evening, my friend Danny and I are driving on certain roads in the country back, and I almost lost, but I just keep driving. It's dark and I am a little worried about finding my way back, but I have a full tank and time to lose. Well, I'm on a road with a cemetery and drive up to it, slowing down to look, because the cemetery looks familiar. I guess that is the cemetery that my grandfather was buried in when I was a toddler. My friend Danny is very much in the paranormal, it would cease. So I throw on the side of the road, but not. Soon I feel a presence in my car. I'm not afraid because I feel like its someone close to me, my grandfather. But something in me told me to get the hell out of the cemetery and I flat out there. I get on the roads and still feel his presence in my car. Danny feels good, but it is a little worried for him. None of us knows where the hell are we now. But something in me knows that I must go, as if someone guides me. It is a sense of urgency my life is in danger if you where I'm supposed be fast enough. Turn left. Then to the right. No idea why, but I know I have to. I continue to ride on the gravel road, more and more quickly. Until I reach a crossing. I slammed on the brakes as if someone had pushed my leg to do so. We slip into gravel and throw my car in park, get out of my car and run towards the track. I know exactly where to go, and I'm looking for something but not knowing what. As soon as I know, I know, though. It's a dead rabbit on the tracks. Not surprising, right? Rabbits die trains me all the time, I suppose. But I thought that time. My heartbeat – then I saw what had brought me there to see, except that the rabbit. The rabbit was the first stop. Up The Road is a breakdown of the bridge. I ran to the car and the ground to get there. I stop the car and drive again. There are concrete blocks and all sorts of debris litter the ground. And through it all, completely irrelevant, is a long plastic shroud. My heart almost stopped and I can not catch my breath. I see in my head the image of a young girl blood on her forehead, her body was cold. I know, I'm sorry, there is a dead body in this painting. Danny is sitting in the car, afraid of his mind because he thinks I've lost and do not know what to do. I do not know what to do either, but I had a feeling impending doom, something bad would happen to me. I got in the car and went there as a hell outta bat, feeling that someone haunts me all the time. I took it turns to the cemetery, but do not stop. However, after I crossed, the presence was party in my car. I tried to remember how I got there. Finally, after turning enough, I made a main road again. When we returned, Danny wondered what the hell was that. I told him that he agreed and felt some of the same things – like presence in the car at least. We debated whether to call the police but decided they would think I was crazy. A week later found the body of the girl had died while a vision. In fact, it was found in a lake, not where I found but the sheet that was wrapped in was found in the lake about 2 miles from where her body was found. I believe that the murderer knew I was there and was afraid he was so excited. But draw me to this day – I have tears in my eyes tell the story.
